Awards
We are thrilled to announce that we have won the prestigious UK Tiling Award 2025! The Best Domestic Bathroom In the UK.
This bathroom has a remarkable design that emphasises modern aesthetics and functionality. The use of 2.8x1.2m marble-effect porcelain tiles with mitred and colour-matching resin edges creates a seamless and sophisticated look. The continuous pattern throughout adds to its elegance.
The choice of marble effect tiles on the walls, combined with wood effect tiles , not only enhances the visual appeal but also contributes to a rational design. It's no surprise that this bathroom has garnered recognition, winning the award for Best Bathroom in the UK at the 2024 BKU Awards.
We are in the Final at the UK Awards for 2019 for tiling work this project we did in Perthshire
Stuart McAlpine Miller, former artist-in-residence at The Savoy Hotel. This amazing Scottish mansion underwent a full restoration in 2019. We were proud to carry out all of the floor tiling works, along with 7 luxury bathrooms throughout the property. Stuart recently sold the property, and we now look forward to collaborating with him on his next project. mcalpinemillereditions.co.uk/meet-the-artist
2016 UK Awards for Taymouth Castle Kenmore
One of my favourite projects I’ve ever been involved in.
Taymouth Castle has played a major part in Scottish history and was truly an amazing experience to work on. Known as a “mansion of great magnificence,” the castle was famously visited by Queen Victoria during her honeymoon in 1842.
All of the marble tiles were carefully selected directly from Italy and, together with our skilled installers and the support of project manager Jon Moore, helped achieve a magnificent restoration.
The project later went on to win the award for Best Restoration Project in the World 2016.

BALCONY IN PERTH
We used a highly flexible waterproofing system by FIXA, which provided an excellent surface texture for the tile adhesive to bond to securely. For drainage, we selected Schluter Ditra Drain—the perfect solution for an exposed outdoor balcony. This system ensures that any rainwater can efficiently escape through the drainage channels beneath the tiles, preventing water buildup without compromising the integrity of the finished surface.
NOTTING HILL LONDON
We are currently working on an incredible property in the prestigious Notting Hill area. The home has undergone a full refurbishment and spans five levels, each featuring its own beautifully designed bathroom.
This project showcases exceptional craftsmanship and premium finishes throughout. One of the standout spaces is a wellness suite that combines a steam room, sauna, and a stunning hot tub, all surrounded by large-format tiles measuring 3.0m x 1.5m.
Every external corner has been meticulously finished with mitred edges and resin, delivering flawless lines and a luxury, seamless aesthetic.

House in Auchterarder - Perthshire
We supplied and installed this beautiful natural limestone throughout this incredible property — a former hotel transformed into a stunning private home.
The floor features 22mm-thick random-length natural limestone flagstones, creating a timeless finish that complements the character of the property perfectly.
Installed over Schlüter-DITRA matting to provide a professional, durable tiled floor system designed to stand the test of time.
CO-OP Store Tiling - Milton Keynes
Transforming the flooring of a busy retail store in Milton Keynes, our team installed durable 450 × 450mm terrazzo tiles this summer.
Designed to withstand the demands of a high-footfall environment, the terrazzo provides a hard-wearing, practical finish while giving the store a clean and stylish appearance.
The completed floor delivered exactly what the client was looking for — durability, practicality and a high-quality finish built to last.
And, of course, our apprentice Border Collie was on-site security for the weekend… although most of his duties involved keeping an eye on the job and collecting plenty of belly rubs! 🐾
2 Cottages in Killin Stirlingshire
